Featured Poem by Brian Rickards

“You Gotta Do”

You must work late, into the night

The company calls, it always right

It must be fun, to travel far

Success takes work, your the shining star

You missed the moments, those precious firsts.

Your love can wait, your heart can hurt

You have the house, you have the car

It comes with a hole, it comes with a scar.

As years pass by, habits hard to break

It’s who you are, it’s your determined fate.

You wake up alone, it’s going to be alright

You must work late, into the night
