General Pricing (effective 07.01.23)

OVERVIEW: Resources are invested back into ZME and STL to improve everything and our community! Our pricing is very reasonable and competitive. We always go above and beyond expectations! Final pricing varies and is contingent on many variables, to include, but not limited to, type of activity, number of participants, breaks allotted, food and beverage provided, parking, what we are required to do, equipment to bring, set-up/tear-down time, specific requests, unique dress code, travel distance, total duration/length, and date/time (as holidays, late/early/work hours).

GENERAL PRICING GUIDE: Understand everything is customizable and negotiable, and that you are paying for each person’s time, experience, and skill. We offer a 10% discount for Veterans, pastors/religious leaders & functions, 501(c)(3) non-profits, and for children & educational related events/purposes, so please inform us of such status. There is no proration for less than 1 hour or if the whole hour is not used, but there is proration for additional hours in 15 minute increments. There is a 10% of total fee added to every booking (which goes towards instrument/equipment repairs/maintenance/upgrades) and a +$100 music director/leader fee for groups of 3 or more people.

• Music playing time per person (e.g. solo, duet, jazz combo, band, DJ, etc.; not including sound or lighting equipment costs) (+$50/hour for solo violin): $200 for the 1st hour, $150 for the second hour, and $100 for each subsequent hour. Minimum of 1 hour.

• Learn songs not currently in the set-list (being unique band requests per song): $100.

• Sound equipment (rates may double/triple depending on what is desired and venue access/audience size/inside or outside): $100 small size (set of speakers; +$50 per microphone), $300 medium size (add multiple microphones/mixer equipment), $500 large size event (add multiple sets of speakers and subwoofers).

• Lighting equipment (rates may double/triple depending on what is desired and venue access/audience size/inside or outside): $100 small size (general floor/disco lights), $300 medium size (add sound activated lights/bubbles/smoke effects), $500 large size event (add light tree and large TV or projector display).

• General down-time per hour per person: $50.

• 1 Chinese Lion Dance team (~10 minute routine): $240 (1 lion, 1 drummer, 1 teaser)

• Chinese Fan Ribbon Dance Solo (~5 minute routine): $60

• Basic Photography or Videography per person (not including equipment costs): $60 per hour.

• Emcee, Wedding Officiant, Misc. Event Planning and/or Hosting (e.g. wedding, open mic, jam session, karaoke, game night, trivia, bingo, art party, escape room, Zumba, workout, team building, etc.): $100 for the 1st hour, $80 for each subsequent hour. Minimum of 1 hour.

• Practice and recording studio space rental (includes drum-set, amps, speakers, mixer, audio interface, chairs, cables, mics, music stands, and more): $60 for the 1st hour, $40 for each subsequent hour. Minimum of 1 hour.

• Personalized private lesson/consulting/mentoring/tutoring session: $80 per hour.

• Music recording/production/scoring/orchestration/arranging: $80 per hour.

• Travel Fee: Free for the first 45 minutes from our address location in zip-code 63146.

  • Add $1 per each additional minute driven after 45 minutes per person for travel expenses (rounded up to the nearest 15 minute for traffic; based on Google Map projections)

  • Modest hotel, airfare, and ground transportation expenses are also to be provided by the client if needed.

  • Multiple day per-diem is $75 a day per person.

• Outdoor Events: There are additional costs and requirements for outdoor events. All equipment and performers must be provided water and full shade out of direct sunlight. We are able to provide shade for $100 for each 1-4 person group. There must be a rain/storm/major wind plan in place. Such inclement weather, excessive heat/cold temperatures, and lack of shade may result in our cancelation.

Contracts/Payment: Once a quote is agreed upon, we generally will email a contract and invoice. Contracts are to be signed and returned within 30-days in order to hold the date. Contracts $500+ require a 33% deposit to be paid in full with the signed contract, then the remaining contract balance is due no later than 1-month from the date of the event. Contracts <$500 must be paid at least the day of the event. Payment options include CashApp, Venmo, Credit Card via PayPal, Cash, or Check made out to Zyi Li Music and Entertainment.
