  • Patrick White (FREE)

    FRIDAY, JANUARY 17TH, 8:00P - 9:00P

    Atmospheric Music (Vocal/Guitar Solo)

Forged on the banks of the Mississippi, Patrick White is one of the most respected and influential musicians in the St. Louis area. His master of the Guitar knows no bounds and a voice like a velvet razor complete the package for one of the areas greatest entertainers.

Son of the late great Freddie White and grandson of radio personality Lexie White, Patrick has been immersed in music and entertainment since he was born, having spent many long nights at his parent’s banquet center the White House reception rooms. Patrick was exposed to celebrity entertainers, community leaders, common folk of all types & backgrounds, as well as their traditions and music on a nightly basis, creating a knowledge of music that far exceeds any other performer.

Patrick has played with many bands on many recordings, and shared the stage with many fine musicians. The rat pack meets Johnny Cash has been used to describe Mr. White, but there’s a whole lot more to the story, and the only way to learn how the story ends is to experience it yourself.

Featured Poem by Poet Surreal Sista

I AM Colorful, I AM!

My soul is silver silk in the sunlight.

Like Hindu-headdressed hummingbirds crowned in mid-flight.

Enlightened sleighbells reprise my singing sighs.

and that’s this -

LeMeL.

When the weight of my waist

winds the wine of my rose hips

down to the jelly of my thighs,

and lips

spill complimentary hues

of long legged curly-cues.

But you accuse me

of seducing you.

Pomegranate promises,

snake oil spells,

and Apple tunes. I

have words that masticate minds,

and that’s that.

Couldn’t cut forest family

and that’s what.
